A New CD/FM Radio Player and Cooler
We received a letter from Jessica yesterday. She is still doing well. She and her new cell mate are getting along really well. Jessica says she is very nice, they shares things and she doesn't freak out if there is a speck of dust on the floor like the other "OCD" cell mate did. She now has a cooler, they take turns buying ice everyday so she can have cold juice and water and she purchased a CD player that also has an FM radio, she said she is very excited to have music back in her life! :) Several of you have asked about sending her CD's. Once we visit with her tomorrow, I will be able to give you more details on that. She is still enjoying working in the kitchen, she says the days fly by and she is busy. She stated though that she is disturbed by all of the stealing that she sees the other inmates do. She does not understand that if you have been put in prison for stealing or robbing how they can continue to do so. Other than that, she sounds great and there were no complaints.
I will also find out more information tomorrow on the special visitation forms for out of state visitors or for visitors that are only occasional visits and not on the regular visitation list. Now that she has an approved visitation list, it should not take quite as long for new applications to be processed.
She does have a lot more writing supplies now and she said she is slowly trying to write back to everyone, she did say her list was about 40+ of people she needed to write too. She still says that her daily mail call is the absolute highlight of her day, so once again, thank you to everyone who is writing!!!!!
She is very much looking forward to us visiting tomorrow and we are so excited we can hardly contain ourselves! We are planning on getting there early to make sure we can get in line early and get processed in without a hitch. There is not a thing that will keep us from seeing her tomorrow!!! :)
I will update everyone with an email tomorrow after our visit!
Have a good weekend,
