My 8th Grade Test
Mom & Dad,

Hey there! Miss you guys tons! Just got back from my 8th grade test. I nailed it of course, oh just a side note I maxed out on the math section! My grade level was 12.9, so higher than a senior! LOL :) The lady came over and said I should really look into tutoring or teaching math here. Two inmates that were helping in the class said so too, she said, "The girls hate math here and need help!" Yippee!! So when i get to a yard, I'm going to see about helping out with that. No bunkie still, I've been alone since Friday morning. they are bringing girls in tonight so we'll have to wait and see if I get one.

Love the pictures you sent! I have them taped to the wall at the foot of my bunk! :) BTW, they are still going to call Highland for my diploma unfortunately :( I asked about that today while in testing. Thanks though for trying! I still like having it ( a copy of her HS diploma) though just in case. Lunch today was awesome, baked potato with cheese and chili, piece of cornbread, green beans, and choc chip cookies for dessert. Hey is the CO's are eating it you know it's good! I always see the CO's taking orange trays back to their posts.

What's going on with Wendi? My friend Shawna said they had released her on Thursday. I hope she is alright. Right now I can't write a lot of people due to lack of paper, no envelopes and this crappy pencil. Sorry the penmanship stinks this pencil is a nub (no eraser either) and we can only sharpen it twice a week. Please tell everyone I will write back asap once I have better accommodations. Tell Lauren I love her and miss her! Also, tell the grandparents hello and assure them I'm doing fine. Thanks again Mom & Dad for everything. I love you so much!
