Did you know????
Hello family and friends!

Many of you have written really interesting questions. :) Questions like, do you have a TV? Do the lights get turned out at a certain time of night? What is the food like? Do the male officers do strip searches?

To answer these, yes I have a TV, it is clear plastic (so we cannot hide contraband items in it) and it gets a really good picture. I have to use headphones to listen to it, that way if my bunkie is sleeping or reading I won't disturb her. No, the lights do not go out at a certain time, I can have my light on all night long if I wanted to. No, male officers are not permitted to strip search female inmates. The answer to the food question is a whole story on it's own that I will write at another time.

I have given much thought of how I can answer some of the many questions people have and with a little help from my mom, we are going to do a "did you know" update on the website every week or two. If you have a question that you would like me to answer, email it to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) and I would be happy to answer it for you!!

Thank you all so very much for your love, support, letters, cards, photos, books, magazines and prayers! The past 14 months have flown by thanks to all of YOU!

Namaste'
